Ingredients 

  • 1 ½ cup black beans (cooked and drained) 
  • 1 ½ cup corn grains

  • 1 ½ cup cilantro 
  • ¼ Cup of olive oil

  1. In a bowl combine the black beans, quinoa, corn, tomato, onion, pepper and cilantro.

  3. Add the vinaigrette to the salad and stir it. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for, at least, half an hour. Then, serve it cold.

Preparation 

Sift the flour onto a large bowl, so it is thinner and easier to mix. Make a volcano in the center of the flour, gradually add the water and salt and go by integrating the mixture, with patience and perseverance. When the mixture turns into a dough that does not stick to your hands, took it to a previously floured table and knead it slightly. 

Then, create balls of dough and add the tablespoon of Gold Foods USA chia seeds to each ball. Knead the ball and stretch it with a little flour making it rounded until it is very thin. 

Heat a frying pan and when the pan is already hot, add the tortilla over medium heat for 1 min each side. The chia seeds tortillas will be ready when they begin to swell and turn into a tan color. And now, you just have to prepare your filling!

  • 1 carrot 
  • 1/2 Tomato 
  • 1 cucumber 
  • 3 corn grains

  • Salt (to taste) 

Preparation 

  1. In a large bowl, grated the carrot and cucumber, add the lettuce and the beet cut into strips, the diced tomato, the corn grains and the avocado cut into small cubes. 
  2. Add salt and the lemon juice and mix it all to integrate the flavor of the other ingredients. 
  3. Take your chia seeds tortilla and fill it with these ingredients.
