30 Mar Sweet and healthy ideas in bakery
April is coming and we propose you with ‘sweet and healthy ideas in bakery’ to use the values of the chia seeds in your homemade bakery and cakes
It is easy, ad the results could be better if you know the benefits of the millennial seed.
The best ideas
1.-Cupcakes. Introduce them in your favorite recipe of cupcakes instead of sesame seeds
2.-Bread. Use chia seeds because they have an extraordinaire property because they are gluten free. In the case of baked goods (especially bread) we notice they stay moist a lot longer.
3.- Waffles. Start your morning with Whole Grain waffles with Chia. Top with chia seeds hydrated with non fat yoghourt, and plenty of fresh fruit.
4.-Cookies. Using chia flour, and your favorite chocolate cookies recipe. I’ve been messing with my recipes to ditch the sugar without abandoning the flavor. I’ve learned that super ripe bananas and a bit of stevia are my best friends. Enjoy them!
.
5.-Smoothies. Good Reasons to include in your diet. The benefit is a lot less sugar and a great boost to start your day! And for those of you with children who have dairy allergies, we made it dairy free!
6.-Berries pudding. A way to find some healthy-and-easy-to-eat one-handed snacks with chia seeds. One thing I will say about chia pudding: it is never as sweet as you think it’s going to be. Something about those chia seeds soak up all of the natural sweetness of the fruit.
7.- Puff pastries and quiches. Special Spring days or great celebration like Mother’s Day, a way to surprise them with a pot of coffee and sit down to a warm home-cooked brunch with her. It’s a better present that a perfume!
