19 Jun Chia boom. New studies and data

Welcome to the chia boom. This ancient grain is found in numerous products from cereal bars to pasta, nutrition supplements or yogurts. Chia is the new superfood, no doubt, and farmers know about it.

We ensure that the family farms we work with use environmentally friendly methods to protect the integrity of the products we sell to the consumers. The organic market is growing exponentially: we aim to increase our organic production to 50%.

We have 25 years of experience in agriculture and 10 years in export.
The US and Australia are the countries that consume the most chia. The UK, Brazil, Chile and Spain are increasing markets. Currently, we are selling 5,000 tons of chia per year. Tracking the shipments to these countries is now much easier thanks to the new online logistics platforms.

We can proudly say that we are the only company that grows, harvests, processes, stores and exports chia. Our market is the world: North America, Latin America, EMEA and ASPAC.
Our chia is produced by selected farmers in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The National Bolivian Institute for Quality and Standards awarded our chia with its highest rating: 99.95%. Omega 3 fatty acids in the chia samples provided by Goldfoods is 25% higher than in chia from other companies.

If you are looking for the best chia on the market: both white and black, organic and natural, go Goldfoods. We´ll make sure that you get your chia, no matter where you are.
